Growing up in Chicago, Illinois, Desiree had an early start to her career. She began modeling at the age of 12 and moved to Miami by the age of 16.  She worked as a model, helping pay her way through college at the University of North Florida. She moved back to Chicago, Illinois, post graduation, to pursue classes in acting. After two years of working as a model and actress in Chicago, Desiree decided it was time to move to Los Angeles.

Starting her career as a model, allowed her to perfect her body language which in turn gave her a leg up to begin her acting career. She was able to focus more on acting techniques and verbal technique.

Modeling and acting in Chicago, Miami, New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles has taught Desiree to tailer brand voices according to region when appropriate when doing commercial acting jobs.

Since moving to Los Angeles, she has had the opportunity to study various techniques of acting. She has also had the pleasure of performing in small theater and independent films as well as some cameos in network dramas and film. 

When she is not working on a project or auditioning, she can be found swimming laps, doing yoga, hiking or painting.  Desiree is passionate about life and has traveled to various countries to experience many different cultures.  She brings those experiences and passions with her when she is working on a project.
